Job Responsibilities:
- Improve, implement, manage, and monitor the marketing and digital marketing strategy which will provide the maximum brand reach to our intended audiences.
- Promote brands and marketing campaigns with a global appeal which can thrive in international markets which are at various stages of development and maturity.
- Stay informed and work effectively within the boundaries of international legislation relating to the use of medicines, controlled substances and foods pertaining to individual countries.
- Assure that digital best practices align with brand objectives and values using strong and appropriate Social Media campaigns.
- Remain up to date on new technologies and platforms which will assist in our approach and the success of our business.
- Utilize your knowledge of category management to enable our brand to stand out from the crowd.
- Create a compelling brand story for consumers and lead them to the point of purchase.
- Cooperate with the commercial team to devise and develop ‘best in class’ educational materials which are appropriate for healthcare professionals, counter staff, plus internal and external sales teams.
- Oversee and report on competitor activity, including key messaging and marketing approaches.
- Organize and maintain a ‘knowledge bank’ on competitor brands and the market.
- Collaborate closely with relevant media agencies and professional bodies to ensure that all third parties we engage with are aligned with our vision and expectations for our brands.
- Produce regular and meaningful reports relating to strategies which are effective, and which are not.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing required.
- Master’s degree preferred digital marketing qualification.
- Effective experience in digital marketing and social media reach.
- Proficient working experience with established and non-established brands which rely heavily on driving sales through education and word of mouth.
- Solid digital and MCM experience including web, mobile, SEO/SEM, email, digital advertising, analytics, campaign planning and execution.
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare or FMCG market is preferable.
- Demonstrated understanding of category management and product placement is essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Creative, persuasive and always open to new and exciting challenges.
- Solid project management and creative problem-solving skills.
- Available to travel internationally when required.
