Job Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering efforts from ideation and design through implementation.
• Resolve complex technical challenges.
• Plan, develop and deploy the overall architecture of both web and mobile applications.
• Support quality and ensure responsiveness of mobile applications.
• Cooperate with the product team to design and implement new features.
• Cooperate with designers and converting designs to interface elements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s in a technical field, computer science or mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Go, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Effective experience with REST APIs.
• Expert knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
• Familiarity with content distribution network workflows and configurations, specifically Akamai and Wowza.
• Proficient experience in back-end programming languages (Ex: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript and GoLang).
• Proven track record in using Ex: advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of both mobile (IOS/Android) and desktop HTML 5.
• Deep knowledge of server-side languages including such as Jade, EJS, Jinja and Heroku.
• Strong experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure with a variety of people and facilitating communication between teams.
• Ability to anticipate operational needs and identify growth opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate in a rapidly evolving matrix environment and to interact effectively with business stakeholders.
