Job Responsibilities:

• Draft effective product titles and descriptions with targeted keywords in mind.
• Operate on keywords and synonyms to enhance search results in collaboration with the category management, web and digital teams.
• Assure technical specifications for products are complete, SEO presence is maximized, and writing is compliant with in-house style guides.
• Collect information from catalogs, vendor websites and representatives, third-party resources, and firsthand experience.
• Aid with reviewing website content for quality assurance and SEO optimization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or similar fields.
• Effective experience writing e-commerce product copy is an asset.
• Expert knowledge of SEO best practices is an asset.
• Deep industrial and safety industry knowledge is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A desire for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines successfully.
• The ability for working independently while also coordinating within a team environment.
• Ability to multitask on multiple, simultaneous projects.
