Job Responsibilities:

• Design inspiring, strategic, and innovative packaging for primary and secondary designs that are compelling, effective, and bring all the feels.
• Produce beauty packaging mechanicals from start to finish, including mechanical layout, packaging development, and line extensions for cosmetics and personal care.
• Review proposed designs with the director of brand development to ensure design aesthetics and requirements are met.
• Run the execution of product branding by developing and managing consistent product and packaging codes across core products, line extensions, seasonal campaigns, and promotions.
• Manage package design development for upcoming programs and launches on designated brands.
• Cooperate with product development and packaging teams to achieve the highest level of quality for each project, while factoring in timing, costs, etc.
• Own presentation of packaging designs to the cross-functional team, including the development and completion of 3D renderings and comps.
• Interpret approved master creative compositions and layouts into various sizes and formats needed for products while maintaining the original creative intent and specs (including dies, bleed, trim, type safety, resolution, color mode).

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience, ideally with 3 years of dedicated beauty packaging design.
• Effective experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
• Proven experience creating presentation decks on all things packing design-related, including materials, concepts, and more.
• Strong digital photography and retouching skills (a plus).
• Proficient experience with mock-ups and digital renderings.
• Outstanding communications skills, both written and spoken.
• Tight timelines, deadlines, multi-tasking – you recognize the importance of these success components and take pride in calling them your strengths.
• Solid time-management skills.
• Ability to create deadlines and development factory-ready files.
• The ability for communicating across teams and departments and being a creative voice for the CreateTribe and SupplyTribe team in any setting.
