Search Director

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understood clients’ business needs.
  • Incorporate client business needs as a key input to the planning process.
  • Create strong relationships with relevant senior client contacts.
  • Head search strategy for all major projects and new business pitches.
  • Be the go-to-guru on the team.
  • Own the process and make the best practice a religion.
  • Put search at the heart of the agency’s offer.
  • Continually explore opportunities to solve and sell.
  • Aid client leaders in developing new business opportunities.
  • Illuminate new business pitches with search insights.
  • Develop your profile with Ad Tech suppliers so we get offered the newest and best.
  • Accountable for the career development of the paid search team.
  • Drive regular team meetings, disseminate knowledge and best-practice.
  • Coach and support team in collaboration with other departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing Paid Search campaigns.
  • At least 6 years of managerial experience – including operations of a larger team.
  • Effective experience working on large, multi-faceted accounts is a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of Paid Search best practices.
  • Demonstarted understanding of SEO and how it integrates with SEM.
  • Familiarity with Google, Bing, and any other strategic partners to uncover opportunities for clients.
  • Solid communication skills that allow clients and colleagues to understand complex ideas in an easily digestible way.
  • Foster and encourage the growth of junior staff to help grow their careers.
  • Ability to work with junior staff to publish POVs and case studies.
