Social Media Strategist

CreateTribe is looking for a Social Media Strategist in California, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve, implement, and track social strategies and campaigns across a range of brands, specifically in the fashion and beauty space.
  • Design a posting calendar for each brand aligned with industry and social trends with forecasts on quantifiable outcomes – essentially, that’s a fancy way of saying, “if we post this, we’ll see this in ROI.”
  • Create a fanatical, amazing, devoted following through content creation that feels authentic because you truly believe in the “why” behind the Tribe mission.
  • Provide weekly internal reports on brand performance, and suggestions for optimization opportunities in partnership with our UXO, E-comm Manager, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Present weekly, measurable data by analyzing audiences and their behaviors on an ongoing basis.
  • Cooperate with internal and partner teams to align on content marketing, social execution and creative development, product messaging and promotions.
  • Reply to requests from internal departments, including creating and routing content and scheduling posts.
  • Aid others by drafting responses to requests received from internal departments, including contributing to the creation and routing of content and scheduling posts.
  • Effectively and efficiently maintain product launch campaigns and brand overall on each social media network, including a well-articulated approach for growing engagement with consumers and conversation.
  • Support work related to contests and sweepstakes including legal review, overall execution and prize fulfillment.
  • Produce reports and presentations on social media and influencer marketing activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism, a related field, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1- year experience in social media and influencer marketing.
  • Effective experience in scaling audience and engagement.
  • Expert knowledge of strategic social media, influencer marketing and public relations practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr – both as a marketer and as a user.
  • Proficient experience in supporting event planning and management and tying social strategy to maximize related opportunities.
  • Deep knowledge of rapidly growing and fostering an audience or community.
  • Outstanding project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid writing, editing and communications skills.
  • Sound technical background with advanced computer skills. Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design best practices, principles and software strongly preferred, but the ability to stay on-brand within multiple brands simultaneously is critical.
