Job Responsibilities:
- Improve an understanding of the user, market and competitive factors, identifying opportunities for UX contributions designed to improve business outcomes.
- Design and perform user research and user testing activities to draw out deeper insights from various audiences.
- Document insights to bring into focus the most important user needs and behaviors, sharing with the team and broader audience.
- Cooperate to identify current pain points and propose recommendations.
- Propose usability KPIs and success metrics that align with business objectives.
- Translate complex business problems into easy-to-understand design solutions and find workarounds for existing and potential limitations.
- Plan UX deliverables such as navigational structures, information architecture, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and additional documentation necessary to communicate intended user experience and interaction opportunities.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
- Follow user adoption post-implementation to contribute to continuous learning and ongoing enhancements.
- Operate alongside the Business Intelligence team, the Digital Marketing Manager, and others to understand trends, data from analytics and customer feedback.
- Participate in the thinking from a customer journey perspective, including the integration of online and offline touchpoints.
- Collude with the team to support other projects and initiatives.
- Assure projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
- Stay up to date and aligned with user-centered design best practices, industry trends and technology.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in UX design, UX research, human-computer interaction or related area preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in UX roles with an emphasis on user research and testing.
- Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design and design thinking process; knowledge and experience in service design approach is a plus.
- Solid skills in various research methods such as competitor analysis, problem framing, analytics review, stakeholder interviews, user interviews, surveys, and user testing.
- Effective experience in selecting and applying user research and testing methods in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with working in a complex and dynamic organization, both individually and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Expert working knowledge of SEO and analytics.
- Proven track record in the financial services or investments industry is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of technical platforms (MS Office and major UX software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and InVision etc).
- Proficient experience in development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Sound communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to adopt shifting priorities.
- Enthusiasm for learning about people, and understanding their behaviors and motivations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
