Job Responsibilities:

• Improve detailed specifications for new applications.
• Deploy and tests these systems and liaising with the other technical staff as required.
• Design technical and user documentation to support the use and continued development of these systems.
• Support deployed systems through bug fixes and change requests.
• Oversee the performance and security of deployed systems.
• Promote integration of external third party systems to college systems and migration of existing systems from ASP.NET Web Forms to ASP.NET MVC.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in programming, application development and professional certification (MCSD, MCPD).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of modern development techniques.
• Familiarity with software development language (ASP.NET, MVC 4, VB.NET, C#, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL, JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX and CSS).
• Effective experience in software development tools: Visual Studio 2010-2015 and SSMS.
• Proficient experience in database (MSSQL).
• Expert knowledge of server administration such as (IIS and Active Directory).
• Strong skills in third-party systems such as (Google Apps API).
• Solid English (written and spoken) communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curious, initiative, creative, and passionate about developing innovative and effective software solutions.
• Able to work cohesively in a team-based environment as well as independently.
