Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the web-hosting infrastructure for our clients’ public facing web presence to ensure an efficient and highly reliable service.
• Participate in knowledge sharing within your team.
• Accountable for the stability and reliability of our clients’ public facing web infrastructure.
• Liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of all aspects of web development, including Client-side technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript), server-side technologies (e.g. Java, JSP, PHP, programming frameworks), Database technologies (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) and hosting technologies (e.g. Enterprise CMS, Apache, Tomcat and WordPress).
• Effective experience working with solution and enterprise architects.
• Deep knowledge of Python or scripting languages.
• Proficient experience working with a data center.
• Familiarity with the implementation of CI/CD pipeline.
• Proven experience in a large services organization or familiarity with the operation of a tertiary, or equivalent institution.
• Demonstrated understanding of a project management methodology (e.g. Agile, or Prince2) and familiarity working in an ITIL environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to contribute successfully as a team member and develop constructive partnerships across organizational boundaries.
