Android Developer

Job Responsibilities:
- Create and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
- Operate with outside data sources and API’s.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Run on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Effective experience in Android SDK, ADT, Eclipse and Android Studio.
- Expert knowledge of Core Java and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Proficient experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
- Deep knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with offline storage, SQLite, multi-threading, services, content providers, geolocation and performance tuning.
- Proven track record in at least one code versioning system like SVN, GIT, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Solid skills in the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
