Job Responsibilities:

• Create and implement new user-facing features in Google’s products.
• Draft client-side code for web-based applications, creating fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications.
• Enhance web applications to maximize speed and scale.
• Cooperate on scalability issues involving data.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Effective experience in web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proficient experience in software development; experience developing web-based applications.
• Solid software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
• Demonstrated understanding of algorithms and data structures, and their time and space performance
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with minimum guidance.
