Job Responsibilities:

• Operate with product managers, executive stakeholders and designers to cultivate change for the Pocketbook experience and core value proposition.
• Full-stack development testing, deployment and maintenance of key product components. If you can contribute to mobile development on iOS and Android – great!
• Cooperate with other Pocketbook staff and partners in the development and delivery of product solutions.
• Engage in code-reviews, planning, design and technical discussions.
• Handcraft beautiful interfaces from designers into real, working UI.
• Solve challenging engineering and customer problems, elegantly and simply.

Job Requirements:

• Strong skills in both frontend and backend development.
• Highly efficient in multiple programming languages (Java primarily, Swift, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Expert knowledge of building web applications utilizing Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring MVC).
• Deep knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms, Software Engineering, Design Patterns and Agile Software Development.
• Effective CI/CD experience.
• Proficient experience working with an AWS environment.
• Proven experience in building mobile applications (Android or iOS).
• Strong experience with Ansible.
• A love for problem-solving and coming up with unique solutions.
