Job Responsibilities:

• Produce first call support to co-location and network customers.
• Control network health and responds to event alarms.
• Examine network traffic patterns and responds to security issues.
• Aid with provisioning, implementation, and supporting of customers.
• Operate with Cisco, Juniper and Foundry router, switches, Netscreen and Juniper firewalls, and Foundry load balancers.
• Cooperate with the network engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, or equivalent education.
• At least 2 years hands-on network experience desired.
• Solid grasp of TCP/IP, routing, switching, cabling, internet protocols (BGP,ISIS, and OSFP), firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and Foundry hardware and software.
• Expert knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environment.
• Familiarity with Cisco and/or Juniper (CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA) preferred.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick learner.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Well-developed customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts under a rotation schedule that includes overnight shifts.
• Great ability to work in a fast paced environment.
