Network Support Expert

Orange is looking for a Network Support Expert in Cairo, Egypt. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate 3rd level troubleshooting in all tickets related to internetworks problems escalated by customer’s service desk and incident management in order to fix the problems and find the root cause for it, to maintain customer’s network operations.
  • Communicate vendors and following up until problem resolution.
  • Manage all subcases dispatched to IOC-Global Queue.
  • Apply all forms of training provided by equant to keep up-to-date with existing and new services and technologies.
  • Develop the OBS knowledge base.
  • Produce support to all GCSC staff in relation to questions concerning technical assistance, the status of subcases or existing processes for routers related issues.
  • Reply to customer’s technical inquiries.
  • Present the coaching and support for team members.
  • Head the first level of escalations for all subcases received.
  • Work as team supervisor in case of supervisor not available.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years experience in network operations related position is required.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year within IOC and IPE team (Senior Specialist).
  • Cisco certified network professional (CCNP) or Cisco certified internetworking professional.
  • Effective experience in (CCIP) or equivalent hands-on experience is required.
  • Familiarity with VPN architecture (Overlay (LANAS), Routing (IPNet) or MPLS/BGP (ICN)).
  • Proficient experience in network devices (Cisco Routers / Switches, Wireless Lan Controllers and Access Points and Nortel Connectivity Switches).
  • Deep knowledge of remote access PPP Dial (ISDN/PSTN).
  • Proven experience in routing protocols (OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP4, MPBGP or RIP).
  • Wide understanding of security protocols (IPSEC).
  • Demonstrated experience in legacy protocols (DLSW, ALPS, SDLC, IPX and SNA).
  • Outstanding experience in WAN protocols (X.25, Frame Relay (FR), ATM, Metro Ethernet and DSL).
