Senior User Experience Designer

Moody’s Analytics is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer in New York, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft the overall look and feel of interactive user interfaces across multiple products and platforms.
  • Simplify and unifies complex information into intuitive interactions, flows, charts, graphs, and other forms of visual representation.
  • Design prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers.
  • Contribute to the creation of a pattern library, to maintain consistency in behaviors across multiple products.
  • Produce new ideas to advance user-friendliness, efficiency, and design.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, architecture or similar required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in interaction design, information architecture, or user interface design for desktop and mobile web-based applications.
  • Effective experience designing complex desktop and mobile web-based applications – including wireframes, site maps, and process flows.
  • Solid skill with design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Axure.
  • Proficient experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
  • Proven financial services experience a plus.
  • An online portfolio or samples that can be submitted with your resume is required.
  • Eagerness to grow existing knowledge in the Interaction Design field.
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills demonstrating sensitivity and persuasiveness.
  • Solutions-oriented attitude toward any risks and challenges.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-accountability for meeting a high standard of excellence.
  • Solid passion for innovative designs that optimize user engagement.
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time.
  • Ability to confidently present work and to accept or provide constructive feedback.
  • Sound desire and ability to perform as a collaborative team player and successfully juggle multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Ability to present design concepts, iterations, and final wireframes and to defend design decisions along the way.
