Social Media Specialist

Yomken is looking for a Social Media Specialist. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate original content in English and Arabic and associated design work.
  • Create, execute and monitor content for social media presence such as (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube).
  • Collaborate with other team members to internally crowdsource content and ideas for the social media.
  • Support marketing and communication functions in monitoring social media, web analytics, produce reports and suggest key actions for improvement.
  • Write and distribute newsletters and press releases after each challenge round.
  • Increase our brand awareness among relevant groups.
  • Build up and continuously update database innovators, professionals and other potential solvers as well as, online groups through which our activities that could be promoted.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a social media specialist.
  • Expert understanding of using various social media networks such as (Facebook, Twitter, linked-in, Instagram and youtube).
  • Proficient experience with web analytics, scheduling and social media management platforms such as (Hootsuite, Buffer or any other related platforms).
  • Novice experience with photo and video editing for content.
  • Basic understanding of CRO and SEO.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written Arabic and English.
  • Solid working skills of (MS office).
  • Strong attention to details with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a multitude of tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
