Job Responsibilities:

• Devise and implement technical solutions for projects.
• Cooperate with our product and design teams to define feature specifications.
• Responsible for the quality of the code you ship.
• Actively produce feedback on best practices and design patterns to your peers in the form of code reviews.
• Improve, deploy and maintain full stack implementations of the owner and consumer-facing features of the TripAdvisor Restaurant experience.
• Accountable for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA, operations and maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of science in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of large scale, full life cycle development experience.
• Effective experience with full stack web development in JavaScript and Java. The TripAdvisor Restaurants B2B team develops with JavaScript/React, Java, Tomcat, Linux, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Hive and Amazon Redshift.
• Proficient Startup experience is a definite plus.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
