Job Responsibilities:
- Create tools for deployment and testing for our own team.
- Develop our development workflow and infrastructure.
- Suggest solutions that best align with our product and business goals, as well as the secure storage and replication of our data.
- Maintain infrastructure on AWS.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a development or DevOps role.
- Effective experience with version control, shell scripting, the Unix filesystem, and automating deployments.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud-based deployments on Amazon Web Services
- Proven track record in Java; alternatively, C/C++, C#, Python, or Go and a willingness to learn Java
- Expert knowledge of SQL; Oracle or Postgres preferred
- Demonstarted understanding of the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product needs and a preference for solutions that take all of these needs into account.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about what you do.
- Be sensitive to security and privacy concerns and familiar with GDPR & PCI requirements.
- Passion about quality, performance and reliability of systems.
- Be thoughtful, clear, and persuasive in writing and in person.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems.
