User Experience Designer

Autodesk is looking for a User Experience Designer in California, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design conceptual diagrams, task flows, storyboards, wireframes, UI mockups and prototypes that describe proposed user experiences for our products.
  • Carry out usability tests and other feedback-gathering exercises against prototypes and developed software, both in person and remotely.
  • Operate with Product Managers/Owners to progressively refine the definition of features and improvements as part of the Agile development process.
  • Cooperate with engineering teams to support development, review implementation, and ensure high-quality user experiences are delivered.
  • Associate in design reviews and feedback sessions with other designers, contributing to the broader Experience Design community here at Autodesk.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Effective experience of front end UI development, especially for the web.
  • Effective experience applying UX within Agile development environments.
  • Demonstarted understanding of 2D and 3D graphics and related interactions.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products.
  • Proficient experience in large, distributed, enterprise organizations.
  • Demonstrable skills across a range of design tools and methods.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating your previous work.
  • Deeply passionate about delivering compelling experiences.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, with a hunger to learn new things.
  • Naturally collaborative and an outstanding communicator.
