Job Responsibilities:

• Manage both qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Translate research results into personas, storyboards and user journey.
• Draft low and hi-fidelity prototypes.
• Continuously develop the user experience of all the touch points.
• Cooperate with UI designer to deliver consistent design.
• Report design specification and work closely with developers to communicate design details.
• Head the service mapping of the K12 Education sector to build a picture of the system and identify the actors.
• Direct the discovery work to inform the development of new products.
• Drive on the development of Service Design and User Experience practices across Alef.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, UX design or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Deep working understanding of user-centered design principles and tools.
• Effective understanding and experience of visual design, interaction design, content design, and service design.
• Familiarity with sketching and prototype on paper and on a computer.
• Proven experience in low/hi-fidelity designs to working prototypes.
• Proficient experience conducting user research and know how to interpret user research into actions.
• Demonstrated experience in ensuring that appropriate user research and strategic level design thinking is intrinsic to making design decisions.
• Expert knowledge of working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams with (Research, Design, Software, Content and Product team members).
• Solid graphics user interface design skill is highly preferred.
• Outstanding knowledge with front-end technology is a plus.
• Verbal and written ability in Arabic is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
