Ahead of the Holiday season and Black Friday, this week, Instagram officially announced the introduction of three new way, in order to encourage Instagrammers around the world to turn to the app for all of their holiday shopping needs. These three new ways are focused on help customers and shoppers globally to explore new products, shop from their favorite brands and keep track of all their shopping inspiration in one place on Instagram platform.
“In September, we expanded Shopping on Instagram with the introduction of product stickers in Stories, so you can easily learn more when you discover a product you love. We also announced a shopping channel in Explore, a dedicated space for you to shop from the brands you follow as well as brands you have yet to discover,” Instagram said.
According to Instagram announcement, shoppers now have the ability to save products that they have to buy in a personal Shopping collection, in order to be able to revisit it later. This means that customers can save their preferences to showcase and purchase it any time they need, just by:
Instead of using tools like Havetohave.it and other tools that makes it easier for your followers to shop your products, Instagram is now experimenting a redesign for the Shop tab on business profiles, to make it easier for shoppers to browse all the featured products on business profiles timeline. The feature will be available with allowing users to tap on the ‘Shop’ button that will showcase all the products with its information, including item name, price, and the post featuring the item. Instagram commented “It’s a great way to browse all the products from a brand you love on Instagram, in one place.”
Instagram announced a new option that enables customers to shop and buy through videos from their favorite brands. Once users see a video in their Feed from a brand they follow, they can discover the featured products with all its information by tapping the shopping icon in the bottom left corner.
