Within one week only, Instagram announced that they have added two new features to their platform, in order to add more excitement to Instagram user experience.
On the 10th of July, 2018. Instagram has rolled out “questions sticker”, a new feature that enables Instagrammers to ask each other any questions.
“Today we’re introducing an interactive questions sticker in Instagram Stories that lets your friends submit questions for you to answer. It’s a fun new way to start conversations with your friends so you can get to know each other better.”
The new feature is added to the sticker tray, so users can add it to their stories by selecting it first after taking a photo or video.

As it is shown in the previous visual item, after the user takes a photo or a video as their story and selects the question sticker, they can type any question they want and place it anywhere on the story, so they can have their friends reply to it. Alongside the “question sticker” feature, on July 19th, 2018, Instagram announced a new update that enables Instagrammers to know when their friends are available to chat.
“Today we’re making it easier to connect with friends on Instagram by showing you when they’re available to chat.”
As shown in this shot, the new feature can be explained in these tips:
