The Snapchat monthly report for August’s trending is focusing on the trending topics among Snapchatters in the US, Canada, and across the world.
As explained by SnapChat:
“As summer comes to an end, Snapchatters remember music icon Aretha Franklin, celebrate Eid al-Adha, and stay swae.”
Trending Topics Globally
- Eid al-Adha: The celebration of Eid al-Adha succeeded in topping the trending topics in Australia, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and the United Kingdom. And, it was considered to be The most notable trending topic around the world in August 2018.
- Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, and National Sister’s Day, respectively. Independence Day: These family celebrations came on second especially among the Snapchatters from Brazil, Costa Rica, and the United States.
Trending Topics in The US
The charts of the Snapchatters trending topics in the US came slightly different from the charts that shape the trending topics among Snapchatters globally. So, it was noted that Eid al-Adha came in second behind National Sister’s Day.
