Job Responsibilities:
- Recognize new content providers amongst digital media/streaming companies, online publishers, MCNs, independent producers, video platforms and social video creators.
- Define potential content providers, negotiating and closing new partner agreements.
- Ability to identify emerging trends in video content.
- Contribute to general content strategy .
- Identify content demand and have the ability to meet team requirements rapidly.
- Design and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities in our tools and reporting.
- Meet monthly and quarterly KPIs (i.e. contract minimums, video volumes).
- Audit industry events, conferences and other networking opportunities.
- Cooperate with the partner management, business analysis and community/broadcasting teams.
Job Requirements:
- At least 9 years experience in digital video acquisition, syndication or distribution.
- Effective experience in a digital-first media company, social video creator, multi-channel network, publisher with a high volume of video acquisition, license or video content platform.
- Expert knowledge and experience in digital media, online streaming and the digital streaming landscape generally.
- Deep knowledge of video acquisition methods is a plus.
- Demonstarted understanding of and interest in online video.
- High energy, self-starter with the ability to work alone and unsupervised.
- Strong communicator with proven trackability to create lasting relationships.
