Content & Social Media Executive

Dunnes Stores is looking for a Content & Social Media Executive in Dublin, Ireland. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the workflow of the weekly, monthly content and social media calendar as agreed by the Food Marketing team in terms of where and what Food content shows up across Dunnes Stores social platforms, website, and email communications.
  • Operate with approved 3rd party content agencies to manage the workflow of content production – recipes, video and editorial content etc.
  • Cooperate with customer insight team to ensure all paid social briefs are submitted for trade driving and quality messaging and optimized appropriately across different ad platforms with correct audience targeting, paid social budget etc.
  • Day to day lead Dunnes Stores social media channels for Facebook & Instagram and Dunnes Stores Food website in conjunction with Grocery Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Assure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, the tone of voice and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Grocery Digital Marketing Manager to manage content partnerships with Dunnes Store’s ambassadors – planning instore events social and email pre-awareness plan, including  Live coverage at events across Instagram Stories.
  • Execute partner content plan as part of the wider Food Marketing Content calendar.
  • Head the updating of the Food website with the internal Dunnes Stores team in line with seasonal content plan.
  • Analyze and understand key website and social metrics data with Insight team to ensure digital campaigns are reported on in a  timely manner and to understand what content is working and not working as part of an iterative test & learn approach.
  • Act on specific digital projects with digital marketing manager as they arise.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in marketing, business or related industry.
  • At least 4 years of marketing experience, ideally in FMCG or retail industry with an interest and passion for Food Marketing.
  • Demonstarted understanding of digital and content marketing.
  • Effective experience in creating and publishing content for different social media platforms and have an appreciation of what content works well on various digital channels – email, social, website.
  • Strong attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a busy and dynamic team in a thriving retail environment.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and you put forward new and innovative ideas.
  • Pro-actively plan, create, and implement regular, engaging content for different channels.
  • Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure flawless execution and delivery.
