Digital Analytics Engineer

ACRONYM is looking for a Digital Analytics Engineer in New York, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft technical documentation for our clients on how to implement various Javascript-based web analytics and website testing tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and provide quality assurance on these tools’ implementation.
  • Aid design, execute and provide quality assurance for web content tests using HTML, CSS and Javascript as well as Adobe CS for wireframing/design concepts.
  • Configure tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM, and Tealium to minimize our Clients’ development resource needs.
  • Deploy third-party tracking pixels such as Doubleclick, Facebook, etc. within tag manager environments.
  • Liaise with Clients (mostly technical stakeholders but some non-technical) to answer questions, address concerns, and help them troubleshoot and fix issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Javascript proficiency (expert level) a must, including common frameworks such as jQuery.
  • Effective experience deploying, configuring and providing quality assurance for Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of web design, digital marketing, and web analytics.
  • proven track record in dealing with Javascript.
  • Proficient Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics experience a must.
  • Solid experience working with tag managers a big plus.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel).
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe CS.
  • Familiarity with additional web analytics and testing tools like Coremetrics, Optimizely, Adobe Target, Monetate a BIG plus.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to clearly communicate technical subjects.
  • Self-motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to switch between multiple projects quickly and smoothly.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
