Digital and Content Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Website maintenance and execution of SEO, SEM, and display channels.
  • Cooperate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s goals.
  • Design briefs for video and photography vendors ensuring appropriate content by channel.
  • Assure social and email communication is factored into our Corporate partnerships, events and campaigns.
  • Keep informed of all social media marketing innovations, particularly within the mobile, video and hospitality arena.
  • Design original content related to the member experience/community as well as the brand’s values and vision for all digital platforms.
  • Collude with team members to maximize digital presence that complements extends the business, and ensure consistency of the brand’s design and voice.
  • Serve as podcast channel producer which includes content editing and publishing bi-weekly episodes.
  • Create and distribute the weekly newsletter and all relevant content.
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar for long-term and short-term projects and campaigns that align with the brand’s business goals.
  • Accountable for content ideation and creation, editing, posting/publishing and sharing content across all social platforms.
  • Create, execute, and manage Luminary influencer program and relationships.
  • Liaise with followers and respond to questions.
  • Track and monitor KPIs, including engagement rates and post frequency across all platforms.
  • Own several Facebook paid social campaigns and analyze paid social data to make recommendations to improve existing campaigns and develop new strategies.
  • Create a strategic roadmap to drive online traffic including both new and existing customers through Paid Search.
  • Responsible for content ideation and creation, editing, and publishing in MailChimp.
  • Track and monitor reporting, analytics and maintenance in MailChimp.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of related industry experience.
  • At least 3 years in social media strategy.
  • Effective experience with content creation and understanding of design principles for creative campaign development.
  • Familiarity with all digital ad networks including Facebook Ads and Google Ads is required.
  • Proficient experience in posting, publishing and sharing content across social platforms including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Basic Adobe Suite knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with website management (functionality and maintenance).
  • Strong project management skills are essential.
  • Must work at Luminary – not remote.
  • Expert knowledge of scaling organic social follower growth and engagement.
  • Must have exceptional copy and communication skills.
  • Sound attention to detail and accuracy on all tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional collaborative skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly creative and able to formulate a unique vision for our community and members.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data and use reporting platforms and insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a strong sense of urgency.
