Digital Content Creator

NBCUniversal is looking for a Digital Content Creator in Stamford, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with on-air and digital producers of court show and the Manager of Digital Strategy & Marketing to produce and edit digital videos. Working knowledge of digital distribution to post videos on the show’s website and social media platforms: YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Build graphics, edit short-form video, and lay in select music.
  • Will oversee the uploading of videos and maintaining the upload schedule under the guidance and direction of EPs and/or Digital Marketing.
  • Optimize all video content on digital platforms by:
  • Ensuring the videos have proper annotations;
  • Incorporating proper tags, titles, and descriptions;
  • Understanding of SEO & Social Analytics;
  • Keeping description links up-to-date and adjusting featured content links accordingly;
  • Including proper provocative thumbnails; and
  • Inserting video into appropriate YouTube playlists.
  • Uses YouTube and social media reporting tools to update digital platforms and other digital products based on user data.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, multimedia, marketing, communications preferred, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience as editor/producer/content creator.
  • Effective experience with additional video editings software tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut and Avid.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite with a strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects and Illustrator.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with video content management systems and understand the principals of encoding and transcoding.
  • Candidate must have a reel with samples of work.
  • Previous work experience for commercial online service in television or film and/or web preferred.
  • Proficient experience in broadcast or cable television preferred.
  • Solid copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • Must work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
