Digital Content Manager

Movember Foundation is looking for a Digital Content Manager in Melbourne, Australia. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to landscape analyses on the target markets and audience groups to identify effective and engaging content.
  • Use information from the landscape analysis to implement content strategy and develop best practice processes.
  • Supervise the process for content creation, delivery and maintenance.
  • Manage and direct the delivery and maintenance of mental health content, working closely with the digital mental health and Movember content teams and manage expert content review and approval.
  • Perform Movember Health Content processes in collaboration with the Programs Content Community of Practice.
  • Assure the standards of health literacy, health numeracy, access, diversity and cultural and language considerations are maintained across health content.
  • Accountable for broad stakeholder engagement – both internal and external – to ensure content is evidence-based, up to date and adheres to our “do no harm” policy
  • Head content review and maintenance processes, facilitate meetings, manage the delivery schedule, working alongside senior programs content manager.
  • Supervise content creation and editing for all projects within the Digital Mental Health portfolio, working closely with the Digital Mental Health product team.
  • Produce direction on what goes into the briefs for copywriter/content creators, including collation of relevant information and sources of content. Provide subsequent input and feedback on content drafts and coordinate final sign off.
  • Understood, investigate and scope the nuances of various mental health topics and their interaction with a variety of audience groups.
  • Cooperate with marketing and UX teams to identify content ideas, concepts, sources and themes relating to men’s mental health that resonate with both local and global markets that we can incorporate into various projects.
  • Recognize and drive community and content partner engagement opportunities that will positively impact content creation.
  • Identify potential content partners – both digital and non-digital – that we could work with.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective experience in digital content strategy and its implementation in the health industry.
  • Proficient experience in established, maturing and improving and instilling best practice content management processes.
  • Self-starter with strong ability to independently manage teams and projects.
  • Enjoy responding quickly and influencing people to deliver.
  • Solid time management skills, ensuring that work is produced to agreed deadlines and high standard.
  • Outstanding developed organization skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Strongly developed project management skills, in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
