E-Commerce Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure that the Amazon.co.au homepage is being presented to the highest standards, with the priorities of the customer front-of-mind.
  • Operate with global teams to edit and localize customer-facing messaging for new website features and service launches.
  • Improve and execute to a daily/weekly/monthly marketing and content calendar.
  • Recognize new and existing customer cohorts and implement content solutions for both.
  • Analyze sitewide, cross-platform customer journey data and report on key metrics.
  • Leveraging site-wide, cross-platform placements to give exposure to promotions, new site features, customer-critical messaging and other business priorities.
  • Promote and execute testing plans to measure the effectiveness of different messaging and campaign types across multiple dimensions.
  • Develop, implement and Train stakeholders on guidelines and principles of the page, and audit use of the features.
  • Act with the Amazon Advertising team to compile compelling sponsorship opportunities.
  • Run adherence to site guidelines, ensuring pages are optimized for accessibility and usability.
  • Set guidelines and best practice for the execution of multi-channel campaigns.
  • Direct the creative content creation process, insisting on the highest standards.
  • Serve with cross-functional teams, developing and implementing cross-site initiatives to drive deep customer engagement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Commerce, Business or Design.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design, marketing and e-commerce merchandising with executing highly visible online customer experiences.
  • Effective experience using analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and make adjustments accordingly.
  • Proficient experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML and/or XML, plus the ability to learn our in-house analysis tools quickly.
  • Aptitude for being organized with flexibility to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience managing projects and different work streams (ie. project management).
  • Expert knowledge of managing multiple stakeholders or internal clients.
  • Demonstrated track record of creative problem-solving.
  • Strong experience managing designers.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project management.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to think and influence both quantitatively and qualitatively.
