Job Responsibilities:
- Assure effective cascading of the functional strategy into department business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
- Lead the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the Digital Marketing department.
- Manage the talent development initiatives for the assigned department, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
- Work as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value-driven culture within the Group.
- Direct the preparation and recommend the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all departmental activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.
- Head and ensure effective implementation of Marketing functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Drive the development of the group’s digital marketing plans and channel calendarization, including online, new media, website and e-banking, in order to define appropriate communication frequencies and techniques to deploy.
- Guide the management and adoption of social media platforms as a brand building tool, in order to enhance the brand presence and acquire strong followership.
- Cooperate with the content and creative generation team, to determine key digital channels to adopt, based on the campaign requirements and goals, in order to achieve desired campaign objectives and results.
- Supervise the management of online branding, communications and campaigns through the bank website and email marketing, to build an online community and generate new leads for the bank.
- Oversee the design and development of the bank’s website, to ensure continued enhancement of a reliable source of information about the bank.
- Create strong collaboration with the content and creative generation department, in order to relay the information of the design required and the image to be portrayed in the most effective way.
- Lead the incorporation of best-in-class personal banking technologies, to improve the overall experience and add the digital edge to the personal banking services.
- Design and implement interactive solutions to continually explore new technologies and developments in the digital landscape, in order to find new alternatives to deliver communication and business objectives in a more effective way.
- Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction
- Secure that all department reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Group requirements, policies and quality standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in business administration, or related discipline, is preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in strategy or business management in personal banking function.
