Senior Digital Marketing Manager

PayPal is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager in Sydney, Australia. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with media agencies to facilitate the execution and optimization of paid media campaigns.
  • Maintain and innovate an optimization strategy that’s focused on increasing the capacity of automated programming, creative testing, ad sequencing, and advanced targeting techniques.
  • Partner with relevant teams to create an innovation and experimentation roadmap including researching and testing new ad formats and facilitating mobile expansion.
  • Assist with planning/support for major platform migrations related to the digital marketing stack.
  • Work with global paid media hubs to audit existing frameworks and institute best practices.
  • Partner with marketing strategy and analytics to plan and execute experimentation in an agile framework.
  • Partner with marketing operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assets and targeting details to media teams.
  • Partner with vendors to develop product enhancements, and broker unique services, analyses and offers.
  • Partner with analytics to identify optimization opportunities, new marketing strategies and quantifiable business opportunities and to develop user insights with internal and proprietary PayPal data.
  • Budget and Financial management – help oversee performance forecasting for marketing budgets; maintain local budgets.
  • Produce reporting summaries and insights to present to the executive leadership team.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience in financial services, retail, travel and/or digital goods.
  • Effective experience on both agency and client sides of marketing programs is ideal.
  • Proven track record in online/digital marketing across paid media channels.
  • Expert knowledge of working with external vendors or internal partners, e.g. media and creative agencies.
  • Data-driven and results-driven marketer, with a demonstrated analytical approach to marketing.
  • Demonstarted understanding of analytics tools, ad serving platforms, and attribution models.
  • Proficient experience in budget planning and management.
  • Deep knowledge of using analytics systems to visualize and report on paid media performance.
  • Solid understanding of marketing/website technology and platforms. Previous experience with Google Marketing Platform an advantage.
  • Highly competent in creating executive-level presentations and in presenting to VP audiences, including demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a strong narrative and strong data visualizations.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment.
