Senior Social Media Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve and deliver standout social media strategies and overseeing the development of social content, across a portfolio of clients and campaigns.
  • Own client relationships, taking full responsibility for managing budgets and delivering across all expectations.
  • Aid the head of social media and social media director in strategy and implement best practices, maintain industry standards.
  • Direct, supervise and delegate work effectively to relevant team members.
  • Mentor, coach, train, support and guide the team in all areas of social including technologies, digital platforms, audience engagement and new innovations.
  • Understood and share new insights, knowledge of digital and changes within social.
  • Translate client briefs, lead brainstorm sessions, and create social strategies and proposals.
  • Cooperate with publicity, analytics and creative teams; directing the studio team to deliver creative work within agreed timeframes.
  • Share learnings and campaign best practices with the social, publicity teams and broader company.
  • Assure outstanding relationships are built and maintained with clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience within a related role(s).
  • Effective experience developing and delivering organic social media strategies and campaigns across all major social media platforms.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of consumer brands, and delivering successful social campaigns to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficient experience briefing creative teams, from designers to video editors.
  • Proven track record in managing the expectations of senior stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of managing direct reports; supporting team members’ growth and development
  • Wide knowledge and interest in entertainment products, from film and TV to gaming, theatre and publishing
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A creative thinker, who is confident leading brainstorms and developing social content concepts that effectively deliver on campaign objectives.
  • A proactive and interesting approach to work.
  • The ability to create a strong cohesive strategy for social campaigns of all levels.
