Job Responsibilities:
- Operate on projects with varied budgets – so flexibility and a range of delivery approaches and skills are required.
- Design UX concepts, sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that meet user needs, so utilizing best practices, research, testing and analytics to inform your decisions is key.
- Head and participate in generative and evaluative user research activities.
- Improve user profiles, personas, scenarios, and user journeys in collaboration with project team members, as well as defining the functional requirements of your work.
- Support and enhance the experience design aspects of existing and ongoing projects.
- Participate and lead as a key project team member from inception to delivery.
- Associate to the development of work estimates and project scoping.
- Perform competitive and/or heuristic analyses.
- Collect and analyze business materials in order to define and measure performance.
- Draft and facilitate both user and stakeholder workshops to gather relevant inputs to inform design solutions.
- Contribute to the development of UX strategy and concepts.
- Cooperate with visual designers, front-end specialists and technologists to refine and realize design solutions.
- Subscribe to and support fast-paced Business Development efforts, often alongside active projects.
- Demonstrate professional demeanour, effective time management, expectation setting and communication.
- Provide your work professionally and effectively, to a variety of audiences, and facilitate discussion and input.
- Get formal review and approval from senior members of the team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human factors, design and computer science or similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 6 years as a UX practitioner.
- Effective experience in user research and analysis, including contextual inquiry, focus groups, user interviewing, and usability testing.
- Proven track record in wireframing, user and site flows, as well designing interactive prototypes.
- Expert knowledge of user research and analysis, including contextual inquiry, focus groups, user interviewing, and usability testing.
- Solid acumen in information architecture would be a big bonus.
- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient experience working within UCD processes in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of responsive design and applying the tenets of multi-screen design.
- Outstanding skills in accessibility standards, A/B testing, analytics and performance measurement, and common content management systems.
