Social Media Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize social monitoring tools to analyze client campaigns – deriving key themes from large amounts of data.
  • Source-specific audiences on social and providing clients with actionable insights to help reach these people.
  • Analyze social media content posted by our clients and other brands, highlighting key learnings and opportunities for future consideration.
  • Data and trend analysis including spotting salient information to support insights.
  • Produce research and report findings to clients and internal stakeholders, supporting others in understanding its key insights and actions.
  • Lead the set-up of new social monitoring tools.
  • Manage to answer day-to-day internal and external social media insight questions.
  • Operate with external suppliers to ensure we are able to deliver social media insight projects to deadlines, and that client requests are actioned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1- year agency or in-house experience.
  • Demonstarted understanding of the best tools available for understanding audience behavior and campaign data.
  • A sound understanding and knowledge of relevant social platforms and the data they provide.
  • Effective experience in data management tools (Excel, Google Data Sheets etc.).
  • A problem-solver, adept in facing challenges and creating solutions.
  • A passion for data-driven marketing, understanding the important role data plays in campaign strategy.
  • Capable of visualizing data, quickly producing charts and graphs that tell and story to our team and our clients.
  • Solid communication skills, being proactive, constant and insightful.
  • Great ability to set campaign goals, KPIs and targets.
  • The ability to turn data into tangible learnings and recommendations that can be applied across a campaign.
  • The ability to stay motivated and positive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
