Social Media Coordinator

Yellow Pages is looking for a Social Media Coordinator in Montreal, Canada. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate with the communications team to create and craft compelling social media content which supports the business objectives.
  • Manage the management and engagement of the YPG online community in social media.
  • Contribute creative and strategic content or engagement ideas to support brand repositioning
  • Lead social media presence.
  • Produce effective issues management support within social media channels in collaboration with impacted departments and internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively liaise and manage a persona for the brand in social media which supports corporate repositioning.
  • Present effective reporting and analysis on activities and identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement in social media brand presence.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent training.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Effective experience in content development and marketing.
  • Proficient experience in blogger and influencer relations.
  • Proven track record in managing a corporate or business online presence including blog, social media, etc.
  • Familiarity with social media engagement and monitoring tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Radian6, etc.).
  • Avid social media user and early adopter.
  • Strategic thinker with a good understanding of brand management.
  • Attention to detail and strong coordination skills.
  • Solid proofreading skills to ensure quality control.
  • Be fully bilingual (oral and written French and English).
  • Strong writing skills in both.
