Job Responsibilities:
- Operate with the communications team to create and craft compelling social media content which supports the business objectives.
- Manage the management and engagement of the YPG online community in social media.
- Contribute creative and strategic content or engagement ideas to support brand repositioning
- Lead social media presence.
- Produce effective issues management support within social media channels in collaboration with impacted departments and internal stakeholders.
- Effectively liaise and manage a persona for the brand in social media which supports corporate repositioning.
- Present effective reporting and analysis on activities and identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement in social media brand presence.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent training.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Effective experience in content development and marketing.
- Proficient experience in blogger and influencer relations.
- Proven track record in managing a corporate or business online presence including blog, social media, etc.
- Familiarity with social media engagement and monitoring tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Radian6, etc.).
- Avid social media user and early adopter.
- Strategic thinker with a good understanding of brand management.
- Attention to detail and strong coordination skills.
- Solid proofreading skills to ensure quality control.
- Be fully bilingual (oral and written French and English).
- Strong writing skills in both.
