Job Responsibilities:

• Promote the BSD Tools ecosystem including our mailer, CRM, and advocacy products.
• Cooperate with engineers, project managers, and client services across projects.
• Take independent ownership of projects, features, or products.
• Rapidly fix bugs and issues identified within new and existing software.
• Produce architectural input during the implementation of new features.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience coding PHP/Ruby/Node/Python/others.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, and it’s pros-and-cons.
• Comfort working in a scrum or kanban agile process.
• Demonstarted understanding of SQL, relational databases, and indexes.
• Comfort working and learning *nix/SSH and Git (AWS experience a plus).
• A passion for making improvements to the software your work with and the curiosity to understand complex, distributed systems.
• Empathy, communication, and respect for your teammates.
• A desire to master your craft.
• Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems on the fly, and communicate with those around you.
