Sr Social Media Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve and execute distinct IMDb TV original recurring brand social series assets across platforms to drive follower growth and engagement.
  • Define synergies and collaboration of IMDb TV’s social presence with IMDb.com’s.
  • Strategically and efficiently create highly topical trending content to increase IMDb TV’s brand relevance, foster global social conversation and leverage to build vibrant communities.
  • Cooperate and collaboratively across IMDb TV’s marketing team to champion social-first ideas and execute global integrated activations, events and strategies.
  • Lead agencies and oversee campaign planning and management, including Paid campaigns.
  • Collude with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations and partnerships with Social teams across Amazon and Prime Video.
  • Promote and own goals and performance metrics for IMDb TV’s brand social handles; monitor regularly to understand the effectiveness of the strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage creative ideation and deliver innovative, best-in-class brand campaigns for customers.
  • Present to senior leadership regularly on campaign plans and results.
  • Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Effective experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Effective experience in social media marketing.
  • Proficient experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics.
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent.
  • Proven experience launching and/or directly managing social accounts with over 5M social followers.
  • Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and concepts, and pioneering new approaches within your team or company.
  • Editorial experience, ideally with a digital publisher.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas for our customers.
  • Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and concepts, and pioneering new approaches within your team or company.
  • Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives.
