Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new ways to engage our audience across multiple social platforms and champion specific tactics throughout the organization.
- Pitching, executing and producing videos tailored to (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
- Continuously analyze the performance of social content and engagement initiatives using (Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics and other available metrics).
- Re-evaluate tactics based on metrics and share experiences across the organization.
- Train news hubs in best practices for engaging the social audience through targeted topical coverage, live interactive events and other means.
- Keep abreast of trends relative to social engagement in the industry and communicate them throughout the organization.
- Innovate new tactics based on trends in the industry and our audience and quickly adjust based on results.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in journalism, writing, resourcing and packaging digital content.
- Extensive experience with audience engagement metrics across platforms (Omniture, Facebook and Twitter) with the ability to translate it into actionable data.
- Deep knowledge of using social media to source and promote content.
- Excellent command of English punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all times with external and internal customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines successfully.
