Content Strategist

Aviva is looking for a Content Strategist in London, United Kingdom. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assure modules and components are used consistently and correctly on aviva.co.uk so that users can navigate easily, ground themselves on the site and act quickly.
  • Recognize the required fragments in any new component/module and ensure they fit the adaptive content model.
  • Improve content maps (a visual representation of the content fragments within wireframes) when a new section is an added to the site (e.g. content hub, new proposition etc) for stakeholder feedback and to ensure all parties are aligned to the content approach before authoring or production starts.
  • Make recommendations for new sections of the site that maintains the integrity of the site and the adaptive content model.
  • Understood the needs of different customers as they land on the website and navigate across it.
  • Identify the need for additional tools and modules to be built by the Factory for use in Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Understand and evangelize standard methodologies in adaptive content modeling.
  • Create, maintain and evolve the Adobe Experience Manager taxonomy model to support efficient content distribution.
  • Cooperate with other teams across the business to identify strategic opportunities, align methodologies and limit risk.
  • Coach the website content design consultant and provide feedback on their work in the application of content strategy guidelines and resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective experience in customer success, strategy development, and customer journey designing, operational people management and change management.
  • Proficient experience of content management systems, especially Adobe Experience Manager would be ideal.
  • Proven experience with optimization and re-targeting.
  • Sound experience effectively managing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstarted understanding of statistical modeling and concomitant ability to communicate with data scientists.
  • Expert knowledge of building adaptive content models.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Strengths in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Technical capability and limitations of Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong experience in managing outsourced software development partners.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate likely future developments.
