Digital Marketing Account Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as the primary point of contact for these hotel clients, helping them to navigate the digital marketing landscape.
  • Accountable for creating effective online marketing strategies and delegating the execution of those tasks to our various teams that handle SEO, social media, PPC, email marketing, design and development, and more.
  • Liaise to the client what our team has executed on behalf of the hotel, how those strategies have performed, and then collaborate with them on upcoming goals and initiatives.
  • Responsible for assembling all the diverse pieces of the digital marketing puzzle together into a coherent picture for our clients.
  • Unlock the mysteries of Expedia and Orbitz hotel listings.
  • Weave colorful tapestries of dialogue between the hotels and the travel community through social media.
  • Learn how to harness all these extraordinary new online marketing powers for the forces of good—never evil.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 1 – year internet marketing experience in an agency setting.
  • Deep knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry.
  • Effective experience conducting a search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising, or social media campaign.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HTML or CSS.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A passion for online marketing.
  • Solid account management skills.
  • Strong communicators both written and oral (we want you to be great with computers AND be able to talk to humans).
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude (no Negative Nancys or Easily Defeated Dans).
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with our hotel clients and serve as the strategic day-to-day point of contact.
  • Ability to manage custom integrated marketing plans for 15-25 hotel partners and effectively work with internal teams to execute client goals.
  • Ability to analyze SEM and social media reports and provide insights into campaigns based on the data.
  • Ability to function autonomously or within a team environment.
  • Ability to wear many (metaphorical) hats.
