Dutch Content Developer

Amazon is looking for a Dutch Content Developer in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize writing and management skills to complete all content requirements for complex projects, from scoping to publication as well as maintenance.
  • Promote business projects, ensuring content meets a high bar for quality and is delivered on time.
  • Scope, plan and develop customer and CS associate facing material (policies, emails, help content) that communicate information effectively and engagingly.
  • Cooperate with partner teams across Retail business and Customer Service to ensure external and internal content is effective.
  • Communicate with business groups to gather all CS relevant information for new CS project initiatives.
  • Apply superior writing skills and extraordinary attention to detail to evaluate, uphold and implement content standards that reflect the voice of Amazon.
  • Maintain Amazon’s high-bar for clear, concise, and trustworthy content.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective content management experience within the Web, IT, localization or content industry.
  • Proficient experience working with global stakeholders on complex changes.
  • A proven track record for delivering projects within scope, time and quality.
  • Demonstarted understanding of outsources vendor processes and interactions.
  • Intermediate HTML and/or XML skills.
  • Familiarity with DITA and Ajuda/Trisoft.
  • Expert knowledge of Trados or other CAT tools.
  • Deep knowledge of a Customer Service Contact Centre environment.
  • Native Dutch speaker essential.
  • Fluent/Excellent English speaker.
  • Other European language skills are advantageous.
  • Proven track record in working in a cross-functional team.
  • Solid experience working in a global writing/content environment.
  • Sound skills in working in a corporate localization and translation team.
  • Great planning, communication and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize.
  • Ability to embrace constant change with flexibility and business acumen.
