Job Responsibilities:

• Create functional mockups working with (HTML, CSS and Javascript) based on specification documents for review and feedback.
• Rapid iteration upon mockups based on given feedback and/or pivots in approach.
• Turning functional mockups into viable markup partials that can be incorporated into applications of various technology stacks (Rails, Django, App Engine and Ferris).
• Create and recommend (JavaScript libraries and plugins) for various desired web functionalities.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive working experience with web markup (HTML5 and CSS).
• Proficient understanding and utilization of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as (jQuery and D3).
• Deep experience of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as (AngularJS, React and Polymer).
• Advanced understanding of code versioning tools such as (Git, Mercurial and SVN).
• Efficient working skills of server-side MVC frameworks (Rails and Django).
• Effective knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools to be able to crop, resize or perform small adjustments on images.
• Familiarity with tools such as (Gimp or Photoshop) is a plus.
• Ability to manage a multitude of tasks, projects and information simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative troubleshooting and analytical skills.
