Media Planner & Buyer

M&C Saatchi Performance is looking for a Media Planner & Buyer in New York, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively design, manage and execute digital campaigns, including optimization and budget management.
  • Lead client relationship throughout a campaign lifecycle: from requirement gathering and campaign scoping through to execution and reporting.
  • Guide on and influence clients’ digital media strategy.
  • Direct relationships with media partners and identify the proper partner mix.
  • Associate in rate negotiations.
  • Supervise the reporting process.
  • Control the implementation of tracking solutions.
  • Deliver results in line with client objectives and KPIs.
  • Train assistant planner and buyers.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1- year of media experience, agency preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of the digital media landscape, especially mobile.
  • Solid direct-response background recommended.
  • Effective experience building media plans.
  • Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced, inspiring, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Sound written and verbal communication and people skills, ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze results, identifying and explaining variance from goals.
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve and deliver in excess of targets.
