Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, document and extend features in a web-based application environment.
• Write and execute automated test cases in a continuous development environment.
• Troubleshoot and correct bugs in new and existing features.
• Develop web service clients and server components.
• Examine and recognize technical queries.
• Document technical specifications outlining variables and functions.
• Log project time and project information daily.
• Collaborate alongside with programmers, programmer analysts, software/web developers and testers to help them perform their job duties.
• Ability to translate business data into a programmable design.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-years college or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years web development experience.
• Extensive experience in object-oriented (OO) programming and knowledge of development lifecycle best practices.
• Effective working knowledge of PHP tools such as (LAMP stack and Git version control).
• Advanced experience in automating tests in a test framework such as (Codeception, Behat, PHPUnit, Zend Framework or other MVC frameworks).
• Prior practice creating web applications and interacting with SOAP/REST web services.
• Excellent working skills in the development of graphical interfaces and web security.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including requirements analysis and basic application architecture knowledge.
