Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the scope of build conversations with the development team, project managers, designers and other developers.
• Improve custom web applications that drive business processes.
• Design e-commerce applications.
• Oversee health and uptime of servers (general server admin in a managed services environment, no in-depth configuration required).
• Cooperate with design, strategy and sales teams to find solutions for client website projects.
• Contribute to support of current client websites.
• Join in regular company-wide and team meetings.
• Associate in on-site and off-site client meetings.
• Subscribe to best practices and recommending, exploring and implementing better ways to deliver.
• Develop personal and team member expertise through training, exploring and prospecting.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of proven commercial experience.
• Sound understanding of PHP/MYSQL back-end development.
• Expert knowledge of PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter) a plus.
• Responsive design (familiar with frameworks and writing custom media queries).
• Deep knowledge of change control systems, specifically Git.
• Demonstrated understanding of UX/UI interaction.
• Effective experience in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & jQuery.
• Outstanding knowledge of developing for WordPress.
• Familiarity with developing for e-commerce (Magento/Shopify).
• Proven track record in Ruby on Rails Framework.
• Great experience with Angular JS, JSON.
• Proficient experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Detail-oriented in the context of a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of hitting daily deadlines
• Strong communicator and collaborator.
• Comfortable talking with clients (via phone, email and in person).
• Able to organize and run meetings, leaving with clear objectives and tasks.
