Job Responsibilities:
- Design a variety of marketing assets and layouts, including, but not limited to merchandise, packaging design, promotional pictures, trade-show booth design, screenshots, and so forth.
- Plan and maintain brand guidelines that are consistent with the art style of the game assets, logos and key art.
- Cooperate with the publishing team, providing and receiving detailed feedback.
- Lead newsletter concept, design, execution and distribution to our rapidly-growing audience.
- Operate rapidly and efficiently with third-party partners.
Job Requirements:
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
- Minimum 3 years of either freelance or full-time work with a wide array of design and technical skills in graphic design.
- Familiarity with core graphic design principles (type, color, layout, composition, motion graphics) and the confidence to bend design rules when necessary.
- Effective experience in print design.
- Expert knowledge of games industry.
- Deep knowledge of RPGs, modern and old, is a must.
- Proficient experience with web standards and technologies, including but not limited to HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
- Proven track record in dealing with the Adobe Suite.
- Comfortable with rapidly-changing requirements and tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with little or no oversight or supervision.
- Passion for making and playing great games.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to respond to notes and other feedback in a prompt, effective manner.
