Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and define SEO best practices, understand current SEO trends and drive those initiatives.
• Develop and oversee the execution of our technical SEO roadmap alongside dedicated engineers.
• Manage and run tons of SEO AB tests, evaluate experiment results and push forward next steps at a rigorous pace.
• Measure and monitor KPIs, success metrics and other analytics to gauge SEO health.
• Provide a daily SEO metrics report to understand organic search performance and investigate irregularities in performance.
• Analyze competitor techniques as well as benchmarking CourseHeros performance against competitors.
• Improve and enhance internal linking structures to maximize rankings across our keyword portfolio.
• Collaborate with analytics team and use data-driven approaches to help guide your decisions and continuously improve our SEO health.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like economics, mathematics, computer science or statistics.
• Minimum 6 years of SEO in-house experience.
• Proven success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action.
• Proficient experience managing large sites (over 10 million pages) with significant organic search traffic with a proven track record of earned business wins through SEO.
• Extensive experience with web analytics, algorithm changes and the nuances of links within the SEO ecosystem.
• Expert understanding of using (Google Search Console, Google Analytics and keyword planner).
• Effective knowledge of (HTML, CSS, front-end Javascript and SQL).
• Ability to quantify the impact of SEO initiatives and prioritize accordingly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate SEO ideas, strategies, and tactics to audiences.
