Job Responsibilities:

• Execute robust and scalable software-based products and solutions in an agile development approach.
• Produce high-quality work within committed project schedules.
• Study new technologies, techniques and 3 rd party frameworks.
• Create an innovative product with Harmonic’s comprehensive portfolio of video and media products, as well as Cloud base services.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in CS/CSE/EE/ or equivalently related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years or more relevant experience.
• Effective experience in data management: SQL, NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB), BigData, data analytics.
• Expert knowledge of Middleware: SOAP, RESTful interfaces, etc.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Rackspace, etc.).
• Proficient experience in Scalable, highly available mission-critical distributed systems.
• Proven track record in user interfaces: Angularjs UI, RESTful interfaces etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud platforms: AWS, SFDC.
• Outstanding skills in scalable, highly available mission-critical distributed systems.
• Wide knowledge of complete software development lifecycle, including AGILE practices and development tools.
• Solid passion for providing top quality product to customers.
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
• Sound Object Oriented programming skills in one of Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, or other languages.
• Ability to implement new ideas.
• Ability to think “outside of the box”.
