Job Responsibilities:
- Devise and build software to introduce new functionality and expand existing functionality.
- Interpret business requirements into technical specifications and design.
- Contribute to overall product architecture.
- Analysis, evaluate and implement suitable design patterns and technologies.
- Cooperate with the teams to develop product roadmaps.
- Recommend and make product improvements as per industry trends and standards.
- Create and maintain high-quality tests along with feature development.
- Liaise effectively with technical and non-technical resources.
- Aid train and mentor other software engineers.
- Manage a number of projects and tasks using a variety of technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java environments.
- Effective experience in Java and object-oriented design and Spring framework, with knowledge of Java EE.
- Proficient experience with cloud service provider(s) – Amazon AWS preferred with services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Proven track record in building modern distributed applications or microservices preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of Java concurrency.
- Expert knowledge of Relational databases.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and an ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in all client communications.
- Solid leadership experience is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar systems and code bases.
- Ability to debug and triage complex problems is outstanding.
- Ability to assess maintainability and long-term impacts of design choices.
